I do like the term "mission", it goes well with the "army" terminology. Plans seem to be associated with a smaller group, but a mission has the sense of determination and a larger amount of people.

Yeah Mission sounds cool, but saying "plan" and then "mission" becomes a bit of overkill.

, then? The "plan" part is because the post that quote is from was supposed to put the emphasis on the fact that there were too many plans by too many people around. As a slogan for the "outside", "mission" is better, I think.
I'm not gonna change my sig until someone decides already, though, since it will only create confusion if there's too many versions.

Humpty-te-tum.
The debate just keeps rolling. I LOVE IT!! I love everyone's $0.02. I love that there are yet more newbies getting excited and enthused and passionate and ACTIVE.
I have to say, I kinda like the 'Thousands of fans'. It may lose the alliterative impact, but
(a)it could perhaps help to settle the discomfort some have with the potentially militant interpretations of the language used.
(SameErtia! Don't leave us! We need all inputs!)
(b)For me, it helps to convey the huge diversity of fans out there. Rather than one homogenous group, there are people out there with massively differing and intelligent views. It's one cause. It's a whole world of people. If you want an analogy, it's much like the crew of a certain little spaceship I could mention...
My oh my, you can tell today was a dissertation day. Such big words.
Maxrimstain...where have you gone to, my lovely? Could we set up a vote on this one too? And then at least it can be called a democratic decision.
This is a mission born out of love, peeps. Don't forget it.

I love it too! The creative process is just that. A process. And since we're a committe, well, you know how painful that can be.
I'm game either way, but my fave is now:
One day. One mission. One army of Browncoats.

That's nice and all, but we are not here because of the things in which we differ, but the one we have in common.
"Army" sounds more determined than "thousands", because the latter implies just what you say... differing views. Well, our views may differ on a great many things, but not the one that matters for this - we all want the continuation of Firefly.
Besides, Universal doesn't care about massively differing and intelligent views, they want a faceless mass buying what they're selling.

Well I'm certainly not one of the Big Damn leaders, but I like the slogan "One day. One plan. One army of Browncoats. On June 23, we aim to misbehave." I understand the Brownshirt connection, but I certainly don't think it's the first thing that would jump into someone's head. But I also agree that there's nothing wrong with having multiple slogans, so long as they get the point across.
I aim to misbehave.
