My wife is already planning on being a pirate at some time during the Con; I wasn't going to, but seeing as the Browncoats go pirate, I guess I will join in.

Dunno if we've settled on a day to be pirates. Saturday morning is the parade and I kinda probably plan to be in that, so I couldn't be a pirate until probably after lunch. Can't speak for anyone else, though.

Oooh, a parade! (Remember, this is my first one, so I will be acting like...well, see my first few posts in this thread)
I cannot wait to march alongside my Browncoat brethren (and sistren)!
I have a dream, that one day there will be more of us marching than stormtroopers! That the coats of brown will flow in the breeze of freedom! In the breeze of independence! That we, the mighty, the shiny, will bring about the return of the 'Verse, so that those that know not the happiness and love we have will be taken out into the black, and will know Serenity!

So little treasure maps, rum, and a parade. This is shaping up to be one very shiny D*C. I can't wait to see everyone again, and to meet new 'coats.

Does anyone that was at last year's DragonCon have pictures of Browncoat events, or the parade...or anything? I have Yahoo'ed and found a few, but not quite what I have been looking for. Any links would be apreciated.

Finally found a pair of boots for my (redheaded) Dancing River outfit that didn't cost a whole herd of cattle, so yay! I'll be wearing that in the parade. I'm pretty sure mai was gonna go as Kaylee again--she's so cute! And Serenity, how's your Seryn costume coming?
*thinks we need some menfolk to dress up too!*
