For my two cents, I really like that top one, Ellis.

There's definitely sense in having date/'One' words/Aim to...

And I don't know how anyone could pass up on that picture of Jayne either.

Are we just having one (for consistency) or lots ('cos they're so pretty)? Can we vote on them?

I suggest keeping the word "June" instead od using the straight numerical date.
Simple reason: many foreigners (for you americans) don't use that order for dates.
In italy for instance it goes: Day/Month/Year.
I'd keep "June 23", more direct.

I like the first banner, but anything the Project Leader says is good for me.
Glad to see things proceeding :)
In a few days we'll have our signature banner decided and I'll start flooding forums and the like

Point taken.

I really was unaware of that; thank you. Learn something new every day.

This is Mary_Moo from the Serenity boards. I made some banners:

The idea is to choose one banner, so that people will recognize it when it appears on multiple sites. We'll have an informal vote here in this thread, so post your opinions.

Ellis, I'm not even close to being tired of your banner posts.

They're looking good y'all.

Hey, I really like some of the designs... but, uhm, what's with the green?
With pictures of a spaceship or Jayne with his hat on there, I doubt there'll be people picking up the unintentional brownshirt crap analogy.
Didn't 11th Hour do some banners, too?

Agatsu, that was my thought too.
Show, don't tell.
Saying "Serenity" doesn't really mean anything to non-Browncoats, and "One Plan, One Army of Browncoats" can be mispercieved in a horrible way, but SHOWING what Serenity is about, giving a "mini-trailer" in an image is what banner advertising is all about.
