Search function?

I was recently reading a thread where someone was complaining about new Browncoats not always searching the threads for a certain topic. Then today I tried to search for something.

Where the is the search button? search function? telepathic search link?

I've been on every part of the site that I could think of and the only thing I can do is use my browser which only searches 1 page at a time. I don't really want to go thru archives all the way back in 2002 to search for stuff.

Um, I've also been known to miss perfectly obvious things, so if it is a perfectly obvious thing, please just point it out to me. and thanks.

I don't know about here on the site, but using Google is easy. Just start your search with "site:fireflyfans.net", then a space, then the keywords you're looking for. Thanks to the browncoat (whose name escapes me) who pointed that out to me a while back.

The google is quite useful though.
