I have been trying to convert the people at my college with little success (they are too busy to watch the show). But a couple of weeks ago I loaned my DVD's to a friend from out of college. I went to his place today to get them back and asked if he had finished them and he said yes, several times and that he really liked the show. So I have my first confirmed convert. GO ME.

Congrats! I just got mine recently, too! Anyone have an estimate of the projected exponential increase in converts (if we all convert two, and they all convert two . . .) how long before we take over the world?

oh! ive lent my firefly dvd to a few of my friends and they all kept it far too long and now keep pestering me to lend it them again. im like 'get your own!! thats the idea!!' and all of my friends can finish my sentence when i begin "we shall rule over this land..." even thought theyve not watched it!
...ok thats a bit sad isnt it...

I too am having a hard time getting ppl to stop smell the roses and watch Firefly the series. I've been after my sons(18&21)to sit and watch it but they say they are always to busy. If they would just see the pilot eps I think I'd have 'em.
I'm thinking of putting a fake label on the dvd. "Space Girls Gone Wild" or something.

I've converted two friend's and one of them was a full on trekki, don't know how i did it just lent the DVD's, scratch that Joss did it with the brilliance of Firefly and it sells it's self.
Unfortunatly the rest of my friends ar'nt so much into sci-fi and refuse to watch it ... time for new / more friends.
