Hi
I recently (3 weeks ago) watched Serenity one day when I stayed home from work because I was ill. It just so happened to be on demand so I figured I’d give it a shot. I wanted to see it at the theater anyway but never got around to it. Needless to say I was very sorry I didn‘t. I immediately fell in love with the 'verse. that day I ended up watching it 5 times. Wow! A week later I bought the Firefly & Serenity DVDs. I haven’t stopped watching. I’m very upset that I missed out on all this a few years ago, however I’m very thrilled that I discovered it!
I am most certainly going to do my part to keep the 'verse going and also am very excited about joining this site so I can discuss / celebrate a show/movie that I am completely enthralled by. thank you.

Howdy Beans, welcome to the 'verse. I only discovered FF myself a few weeks ago and like you I can't believe I missed it for that long. Everyone here is real nice and you can never have too many browncoats.

On another thread I asked if anyone were up to swiping an Alliance cruiser, as someone had mentioned that our little rust-bucket was getting a mite small. No volunteers yet, however.
FollowMal is probably waiting for a new shipment of virtual browncoats.
Pull up some of these strawberries and have a snack. More stuff on the buffet, even a new dish of the Captain's Evil Repeating Bean Dip and some reinforced chips to scoop it with.
Five watchings of the BDM in one day must be a record. Augh!

I cant believe there are still people just discovering Firefly. We've been here for what 4 or 5 years? It seems an eternity.
I feel like giving up on it but every time I read newbie posts I get all reinvigorrated(sp?) and the hope returns.
