I know there are a few postings in here in regards to the resin pistols, but there are no links or email addresses to get in touch with these people. I know of PtByNmbrs and a "Phil" from RPF forums. I have had sporadic contact with PyByNmbrs, but either his email does not like mine, or mine does not like his; I get undeliverable most of the time.
If anyone has any info or even a pistol for sale, please let me know. If you don't want to openly post, email me.
I am not desperate yet, but when I finally decided to break down and get one of these, all of a sudden I am unable to find a seller.

Thank you in advance.

Holding until you get back, Captain.

There's one on ebay right now, but it's not like the one I purchased.

But the auction is over in about 12 hours...you can try contacting the seller, see if he has more...
I hope that helps. This pistol is oe of the hardest things to find, even though half the Browncoats sems to have one and everyone else made a resin cast and sold the replicas.

That one's not particularly accurate.. especially around the grip area.

Honestly, keep an eye out for Phil S's cast of the hero prop over on RPF..it's worlds above the ebay one there. (and uh... half the price. )

I know he's done at least two runs now.. I expect when enough demand builds up he'll do another at some time.

I actually have one of those. When I posted the above response, the one on eBay was the only one I could find, even though it did not look right.

I am looking for a weapon now as well. Would it be possible for you to post a link to who you bought your resin replica from? There's nothing on e-bay at the moment (except for an authentic prop which I lusted after but at it's currently at about $120 I can only drool from afar!)

Actually, the one I bought was his last one! Sorry!
There is another forum rpf.invisionzone.com, that has links to the pistols every now and then. I will keep my eyes peeled.

Heh. Don't feel TOO upset about not being able to afford that one on eBay. If the one I saw is the one you were talking about, it's not an "authentic prop" - simply a resin cast of one.

Which happens to be the same as Phil's cast (if you're lucky enough to find one) - which I believe, while a bit more accurate, is not extremely different from the scratchbuilt casts.

Really, the only thing you'd be paying extra for is the fact that it's already painted and weathered. 'Course, that IS pretty dandy.

I actually have one of those casts...and it came unpainted! Half the fun was sanding and painting it...when I finally get it done, I'll try to post photos.
