Hello all,I wanted to introduce myself to the community.
I just got my first dose of the verse a couple weeks ago.I came in and my fiancee(also a new member) was watching Serenity the movie,I caught about the last 1/3 of it and for most movies that probably would have been enough but one thing had caught my eye.
I'm a big sci-fi fan and one of the reasons is the spaceships, some of my alltime favorites are,
Y-wing fighters,Millinneum falcon(sp?) and the carrier fighters on BSG.even though Serenity is huge and unarmed she had a style all her own.
Long story short,by the time I had watched the movie for the 3rd time and had a chance to become a fan of the cast as well as the ship,my fiancee had bought the series on dvd 
I'm now finishing my fourth run through of the series.

Yep FF/Serenity has almost become a drug for many of us here.It is becomming more popular all the time,WHY? Because it just hits the mark. Total bullseye on almost every aspect. Writting,acting,F/X and so on.

If we stay strong, keep fighting to spread the word of Firefly - we should have a good chance to bring it back or at least get more movies...that's the plan.

Welcome to the verse, Postholer!!! FollowMal will be along shortly to hand out your offical Browncoat!!! As you have notice we got a nice shiny bunch of people around here.
