WASH was a better sidekick than Chewbacca;

Most certainly, which makes "Wash's" demise all the more tragic. I want a sequel of some sort more than anything, but a sequel without "Wash" (or sheperd Book for that matter) will be, well, lacking. Maybe they can do a prequel????

yes, Nathan is, at the very least, the guy who I most look up to as an actor, because he is so awesome. all the cast are exceptionally awesome, but Nathan I believe is even more so.

I would say Harrison Ford's career took off with Star Wars (1977), before Apocalypse Now (1979). And he also appeared mostly on TV before SW http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000148/

Ok, I know this post was from December, but I'm relatively new and I just have to say THANK YOU for posting the Captain's post about the comic book shenanigans. I thought I had a crush on the guy earlier but he just keeps gettin' purtier... :) He's all articulate too!
I was wondering, though- the link to the serenitymovie board does not seem to be working and I was just wanting to see his other posts. Are they forver lost? or have I just not been a fan long enough to stumble over them? Thanks so much for the help!!

Universal let Gossi take over the Serenity movie board and Universal even has http://serenitymovie.com link to it. Click on
Join the Browncoats or

Gossi was able to archive as much as he could of the old board

Here are the Nathan posts that
Brandon Klassen, Browncoat Archivist

the link is dead because Universal shut down the board but one of the admins resurrected it. Most of the posts from the original board were saved and moved to the new web site.

Heck yes, I've seen Slither! twice, actually. I saw it at Fangoria in Rosemont, IL for free with most of the cast of the movie- minus Nathan. :(

I got to meet him, though. I told him I had just discovered Firefly and it had ruined tv for me. He told me that did tend to happen, then he cleaned my box set cover with his shirt (He told me all about how smugable those cases are) and signed it, "Natalie, Stay Shiny! -Nathan Fillion" Then he pulled me over the signing table and we made out for an hour.

Okay, that last part probably didn't happen, but my story was sounding so boring. Not quite original, I know, but it surely made my day/month/general existence. -Oh, and he did very comfortably press his cheeck to mine for the picture. It actually startled me how comfortable he was with touching and hugging his fans. Very sweet-like, though. Not the creepy I'm-a-star-and-these-girls-adore-me-so-I'll-touch-them-as-much-as-possible kind of way. (Michael Rooker was really sweet but he sort of had that vibe goin' on after the Slither premier. :)

So, in conclusion, what did you ask me? Oh, yes, Slither. I saw it and thought it was great- very watchable, very entertaining. It's one that I would watch several times just because it makes me smile.

And Thank you for the links!! I'm gonna check 'em out now. :)

How could they over look him? The guy was literally slamming his face against plexi-glass!
