Hey all,
Thanks for the warm welcome and the lovely new coat! Im from Australia, down the very bottom east(just so ya know). I found firefly only about two or so months ago while flicking through dvd's on special and decided to go against my friends wishes and bought them all and serenity over two days.
I'm really hooked and im very happy to say that my friend is also..after much resistance now he is begging me for the dvd's. 
Now i have a task of getting my other friends to watch it so they know what we are going on about.
I was also wondering if Joss Whedon has a fan mail address because i've looked everywhere and cant find anything!

So, when are the new browncoats gettin in...its been about 5 months for me. 'Course I mainly hang in the cockpit.

Gonna have to pick up a pry-bar and get to work on that storeroom where the coats are kept.
Meanwhile, hang out in the galley and munch out on the goodies. Do you like your zucchini raw and dipped, or would you prefer to have it stir-fried?

Howdy, FromtheDark and MrsMal1, good to see some shiny new faces out here. Just tryin' to play catch-up with all the new introductions going around here lately (that and, you know... always worth following the welcome wagon around for the free food :)
They must have recently improved all the subliminal messages in the DVD's 'cause this here's one ruttin' fine influx of 'coats lately :) For me, that's the shiniest thing ever. A war ain't won on numbers alone, but it sure helps to even the odds a touch.
Glad to see you out here sailing the black with us (even if I am a couple days late in the welcoming :) and hope to run into you two in the threads.

I look foreward to reading your posts and for you both to join the discussions in the chat room. It may not always be about Firefly/Serenity, but people are pretty nice there. Sometimes people there talk about the weather. Southern Hemesphere weather is a much welcome contrast. 
And why am I still talkin' about this...you're on the crew.
