Loving the fact he's wearing a Kane T-shirt too. That's Lindsey's (from Angel) band!

GORRAMITITALIAN:

You may have a hard time finding "Life of Brian" in Italy. It's a spoof on the life of Jesus, and was banned by the Catholic Church.

It's not much, but here's a link to the script. ( http://www.intriguing.com/mp/_scripts/briafilm.asp)
If your browser allows in-page text searching (like Firefox does), search on 'Romani' and it will take you to the scene in question. I find rereading the script as funny as watching the movie, but then again I've seen the film and can picture the physical aspects in my mind.

Your experience may differ...

Respectfully,

zoid

Whoa. Good 12&1/2 minutes of our Captain. That was rather like the dead interviewing a really sexy member of the living! The guy sounded like a corpse. Good thing I was too distracted by Nathan to really notice. He is just so much fun to watch...mostly since he's so damn attractive...and I just wanna say that I LOVE the little shadow of his mustache (This second anyway-then it'll be his eyes,or his mouth,or his... *sigh*

We can find the DVD here in Italy only not in italian... which is a good thing because something always goes 'lost in translation' (did I just write that?!)
I checked your link and I think I'll go shopping this weekend

I wish him a steady paycheck and roles he can be respected for and yet have fun with.

I don't exactly want him a superstar because then he wouldn't belong to just us anymore. *cries at the thought of that* I could never imagine him with millions of screaming fans ready to mob him. He's so gracious in his interviews and I'd hate to see him lose some of that. And if he got too big too fast, I think that would happen. Not because of how he'd react but because of what he'd be forced to do because of security reasons. His own personal safety would be in danger of being compromised and I would never wish that on anyone.

But I DO want him to be happy and well respected in his profession, as well as be paid for something he so obviously loves to do. It's that innocence and wonder that I love seeing in him. He's always excited to be doing what he's doing and that comes across in the intensity with which he portrays his roles.

I love seeing that and I never want him to lose it.

Didn't someone say that he was being considered as the new Indiana Jones, I think Nathan would be perfect for that role..is their any truth to this!!

I have feared from the time I first saw Firefly that Mal and Inara's relationship will end with a scene similar to the farewell scene in They Died with Their Boots On.
It gets me everytime.
I don't think I could watch it on the big screen.

It would be just like Joss....
he did say their romance was straight out of 1930's Hollywood. Inara's line in the deleted scene: Irana and Sheydra, Inara's line that Mal is not a pirate but a petty thief, straight out of Captain Blood so I have resigned myself to the inevitible.

I've never seen that movie. Sounds like a tear jerker. For me, for some very odd reason, Mal and Inara's relationship is sort of like the one between Peter Warne (Clark Gable) and Ellie Andrews (Claudette Colbert) in It Happened One Night. I don't rightly know why I made that connection. I just love that movie and the romance between the two. I guess it fits in with Mal and Inara's romance being taken from the 1930's.

That's how I think it will end, for Mal at least. Him dying in Inara's arms.

Isn't there enough heartache already associated with this story-world?
