Wow! I'm not big on guys seriously hurting another guy for me in my everyday thoughts but last night, seeing Wes shot his Father damn near 9 times.... I was like, "OH my Goodness!" I was completely shocked. What kind of love is that and what is Fred feeling? Why doesn't she love him back?
How dark is Wes because he's got balls the size of bowling balls.

I don't think she has a clue how he feels about her.
I was liking Dark Dastardly Wesley. I still do, but now there's this.
Anyone else think Wes is brooding even more than Angel did in Season one?

He is broading, which I'm not sure makes total sense. What does he have to brood about? It's not like he can remember the whole betrayal and Angel trying to kill him thing.
On another note, I can see Joss is really pushing the Fred-Wes thing, and if it were a few years ago, I'd think that's cool and be mad at Knox for getting in the way. But I think the time of Fred and Wes has past. I'm all for the Fred-Knox thing. Which I think I've clearly stated manyatime.

He's not remembering Angel/Connor, but he is remembering Lilah.
"The last girl I was involved with, I had to cut into small pieces..."
Since he got involved with her after he got ousted from the group over Connor, one has to wonder what happened in the revised history.

That is a good point. I wonder how things were mentally mended. It's like in Terry Pratchett's "The Theif of Time" (very good book btw). The time monks have to mend history but if you read history books thouroughly enough, then you can catch the flaws and see where it was "stitched" up.

Wesley is my favorite character, and he is never better than when he is dark and brooding and kicking ass. Myself, I would love to see him with Fred (because I love her so) but that might make him happy and thus curtail the brooding. It's a catch-22.
May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Wesley did what he had to do. Angel put it best and Wes didn't get the reference when he said, "You have to make the tough choices for us."
I think Wesley has always been that way, even back when he was ineffectual comic relief on Buffy. He made the tough choices, but he didn't have the shiny to back it up.
BTW, Wesley is a total hot potato.
