hey everyone. I am very new to Firefly/serinity... I just finished watching the entier season, and movie and... this is prolly the oldest question that there is... but does anybody know if anything will be starting up anytime... or if there is going to be another movie... i was just wondering... I am now obcessed with the show... I watched the behind the sceens, and cried when they were talking about how they felt when the walked away from the set... anything, even rumors... heck, start rumors... maybe they will come true!

I think every one of us knows exactly how you feel...
Nothing official has been said about a return to Firefly or Serenity, although Joss and our crew have repeatedly said that they would love to do more in the 'verse (maybe even as much as we would love to see it! 
)
From what I understand, the most likely thing to happen is a movie sequel. But all that is contingent on Universal thinking it would be worth it financially.
Which means that we as Browncoats need to tell everyone we can about our favorite little show/movie. Spread the word, build the fanbase, buy the DVDs.
It'll happen!

thanks for joining us in this fight to get more FF/S on the air.
all's i can say is there is power in numbers...imagine being a movie/tv exec. and walking into work to find 22 mail sacks full of requests for Firefly/Serenity....(everyday) ... that would be so shiny....we just need to keep pressure on the 'powers that be' to make sure that we have a little bit of their attention. The can't write us off as kooks forever....someday all of this asking, pleading, begging, demanding...is bound to pay off.
Don't lose hope - don't give up - and as Mal says..."Hold...you hold, till I get back..."

In the past month, I've visited this site more than I have check my e-mail. I've also been babbleing like a gorram lunatic to everyone who would listen about Firefly, Serenity, and the 'verse.
I also hope for Firefly to reappear on TV or movie format. I just love to come back here everyday to read the threads. it makes me feel that much closer to all of the browncoats out there.
BTW, is it possible to get a browncoat, followMal? It's gorram chilly out in the Black, dong ma.

I know the feeling. I spend almost my entire lunch hour on here. I also spend a lot of time on it at home after the little one has hit the hay, usually when my wife is watching something not as good as Firefly, which is pretty much everything else. She's got great taste in men, but TV shows...eh...you can't win'em all.
