I swear to all that is holy that the Jossverse writers are in my brain. First many people have said that before Firefly, they've never heard the term "not so much" when Ive been saying that for years.

Tonights term? "Captain Obvious" was said on Angel and again...been saying that for years.

Yo, if you're gonna be in my head, at least pay me with doughnuts. hee

yeah, Paul Reiser used to use the line, not so much, all the time on " Mad About You", and since he was one of the creators, and likely one of the writers, i suspect he's been using it in daily speach for many years. At least that is the first place i remember hearing it....

so in other words, was "not so much" coined by the writers of firefly?
