er...don't you mean 'Serenity' will show by itself on Friday night?
I'm kind of bummed...when I first heard about this I thought it was started at midnight on Friday night (ie Saturday at 12:01 am) and would continue through Saturday showing all the Firefly episodes...
but it is only 8 episodes and it is through Sunday morning?
too bad.... :(

I was just bummed because I could have gone if it was one day earlier (early on April 1st instead of actually being on April 2nd)

I can't go on April 2nd
But I will be waiting and watching and hoping for future events!

This was a lot of fun!!! I do hope the Del MAr does more!! When I bought my two tickets they had already almost sold 100! There was a huge line to get in (it was freezing!)! My sister( who drove down from Sacramento to see the show) said it was great watching it on the big screen(she'd only seen Firefly and the BDM on the t.v.). Everyone in the theater was "interacting" with the show ( great laugh when Book did his special hell line reserved for those who talk in the theater!) This was such a great time!!! Hope there are more marathons to come!
