Sorry, spaced the rest of the thread where you say you're at Lakenheath. WGN is a US-wide cable channel that shows mostly syndicated fare. The show was originally made for CBC in Canada. If it ever gets to the UK, you should check it out.

I feel we must be fair to those who preceded Battlestar and even Firefly.
On Babylon 5, the Earth Fighters used real physics, and they rocked. Probably the best space fighter design I've ever seen, at least from a maneuverability standpoint.
