Relatively new to Firefly - I caught some on the SciFi Channel (they started to re-show last night BTW) none the less I REALLY want it on DVD - anyone got an idea when the R2 DVD will be out?

Or should I just get the R1?

If you have a region-free DVD player then I say go for the R1 edition (I've never been big on delayed gratification!) but the good news is that it should be coming out on a region 2 DVD in the early part of next year.

The commentaries have been submitted to the BBFC for classification, so there is a definite aim to produce the DVD for the UK.
