I'm guessing Skillz in on the money. I had an Inspiron back in the day and it got pretty hot. Here's one I've actually seen happen...very simple and easy to miss....

Do you have the power/energy saver thing set up? Is it going into to sleep mode? *remember I'm running Mac, it's been a long time since I worked on a pc*

Yes. But you'll have to find your own, I'm afraid.

Enjoy!

very good cookies indeedy. Theres a place near us that bakes em fresh every morning, and if you get there early enough they are still warm and the chocolate is still mostly melted but theyre all crispy crunchy around the edges.

mmmmmmmm.

needless to say I don't let myself get there at the right time too often.

I have an eating head on, i'm just eating and eating for no reason, thank fully its just sndwiches and fruit and not cream cakes or take aways, but I can't seem to stop. I think its cause I had vreakfast, and then been alone in the house all day.

apart from the brief hour or too I spent buying far to many birthday presents for my niece (again)

so far she has two sets of Barbies (Anastasia and bloke, and Mulan and bloke - someone was selling off their collection of dolls on ebay and I couldn't resist)
Another Barbie in a pretty blue dress.
A big pink box to keep them in.
Disney Princess Bubble maker set
A set of glitter glue pens, again Disney Princess themed.
A Hat
A beach bag
A pair of Flip flops. (for her holiday to spain)
A new sparlkly nail varnish
and some pink and girly hair bands.

Which is a hell of a lot, proof positive that Helen has no Will Power. But as half of it is from ebay I don't feel like i've got her anything, and keep finding myself thinking about what I can get her for her birthday.

Bah! which also goes to show how dangerous ebay can be.

Ah, my wizard name, which is the only one that I liked - Alatar , Queen of the Valar.

see that? 'Queen' I like!

Of the april fools I think this had to be my favorite -

"The Dungeons & Dragons home page reverted to 17-year-old 2nd Edition artwork, while announcing D&D-branded orc-flavoured bacon and a new line of miniatures including Modrons and the invisible stalker ("so much more than just an empty base"). "

'so much more than just an empty base'... *snork*

Oh, Nos, you did spell quid right, but it was wrong grammatically (yes, brit-land, where even slang has to conform to grammar) you can't 'spend quid' as you'd 'spend money' (the nearest word in that context I can think of is moolah)

Its more 'a quid' 'a few quid' as in 'a pound' or 'a few pound'.

the only exception it the phrase 'quids in' or 'in the money' (i've a lot of money)

How do the canadians say eh? then?

I've always said to rhyme with 'hey' unless i'm being silly then its a short sound to rhyme with 'meh'.

Hmmmmm, is that it? have I caught all up? yey! I promise not to stay away so long again.

I missed y'all.
