Oh, FollowMal! Be careful with the hanging of the very shiny "shiny" Serenity dogtags from Jessi on the rearview mirror -- I still can't see properly out of my left eye, and it's my good eye! Like a laser from the heavens above it was! Perhaps only on cloudy days . . . . .
What kind of car is it, by the way?

I'm embarrassed to say it's a 2006 Honda CR-V.
But since I'm a woman of advanced-y age, and my hubby had most to do with wanting it ( it's not his now, you know, it's my Serenity!) I'll not feel too bad. It's my first new car ever and probably my last. 
The only thing more fun would be a classic car all decked out.

You go to whedonesque.com each day to get latest info on joss and our shiny BDH's.
You spend lots of time searching the internet for fanvids, pics, firefly filk songs, and sound files from firefly and serenity to put on your computer.
You take said firefly/serenity pics and sound files and set to wallpaper and change your sound scheme so that when you boot up your computer you hear the fruity oaty song and the ballad of serenity when you shut it down later.

You watch a Nash Bridges rerun on USA network and its an episode where he talks to a chinese informant and then says "xie xie" when he thanks the guy for the info and you snicker and say "Xie Xie, cap'n!"
You post many times at fireflyfans.net or another shiny Firefly/Serenity related site.
You buy not only the Firefly box set, but the Big Damn Movie, the Serenity TPB, and soundtracks from
both Firefly and Serenity, and Buffy and Angel DVD's
to get the whole verse experience.
You couldn't wait to see Serenity, saw it, went completely crazy obsessed until the dvd came out then watched it nonstop every day for several weeks after.
You can't wait to see Slither, but upset it's not playing in your area, Gorrammit!!
You break out your copy of 28 Days just to watch Alan's character be hi-lariously funny. lol

That's too funny about the brown duster coat cause I got one too I bought over 20 years ago which has sat in the closet..and now I'm wearing it proudly. Got some new boots to match too.

Hey, I've converted one of the folks at work. She has disc one and loved it so much she called me tonight. Have to get disc 2 back from the other person who's gotten into the series so she can see it. Soon as I have a little extra $$ gonna buy another set of the series. Shiny!
