It's a hilarious movie, you'll enjoy it.

I sure hope so! Cause I think I've gotta go see it alone (no one to grab onto when it gets difficult to watch) and I really don't like gore.
An I carried such a torch

Only reason I went was because of Nathan. I plan to ask for my money back if he shows up at DragonCon (just kidding). Had some funny parts but it was really bad, not that I expected much. After seeing Water's Edge as well, someone needs to guide Nathan's movie career a lot better. It won't even make it as a cult classic. There were about 6 people in the theater. If it lasts a week I will be surprised. Course it does have some serious competition, Basic Instinct 2, Ice Age 2.
I aim to misbehave!

Gore isn't my favorite genre either.
But, I enjoyed the movie. I liked the second half better than the first. It just took a little while to get going. I had to listen hard to catch some of the funnier moments, which were great.
There had to have been some nods to older horror flicks which i'm sure i didn't get.
Is there any one out there that thinks the blonde wife/widow is carrying alien DNA (i.e. - the intercourse after infection)? Sequel anyone?
ssssssss

Slither was pretty good for it's genre.
Spoiler-
Drat, cant get the highlighting thingy to work
Didn't Grant Grant look like Jabba the Hut in the last couple of scenes?
Also, Nathan must have a patent on belly wounds. I mean the poor guy has been run thru twice with a sword, shot there and now has been poked by an alien life form. All in about the same place.
Slither is destined to be a "cult classic".

Watch the movie all the way to the end of the credits, and there is a 30 second set-up if they want to do a sequel. I went to see this to support one of our BDHs and ended up laughing my a** off like most of the folks in there. I'm not sure if the grenade scene was an homage to Jayne, but take it for what you will. Anyway, I was entertained, but I also wasn't expecting Shakespeare, either.
So who is he?
He's my husband.
Well who in the damn galaxy ain't!

if you stayed and watched all the credits --well there is a scene that teases about maybe a sequel could be done-------though WHY would be my question
yes there were some funny moments--though maybe some were not intended--then again the humour was rather crude at times and once again Nathan proves he can take a punch
Also, I can kill you with my brain.
