I also have to admit to jumping Wash first.
Actually no - I'd jump Wash second. The first thing I would do would be to send Zoe off on a romantic shuttle trip with someone lovely, like Mal. All fair and square. Heheh.
I know, I'm bad. There's a whole level of special hell just for people who steal other people's husbands.
But Wash is such a beautiful person. The others do not even get a look in.
I just saw the BDM five minutes ago, for the first time ever...
"Wash? Baby? Come on! We got to go!"

Mal, Mal, Mal. He's honourable, intelligent, good-looking, funny... plus he likes strong, smart women, which I think shows character in a man.
Simon is awfully yummy to look at, but he's too young for me (I'm just getting to the age where I'm starting to say this... man, it feels weird). He's a good man and a good doctor, but he isn't ready to have a mature relationship yet.
Wash is (was) married. 'Nuff said.
Jayne isn't such a bad guy, but just not remotely my type.
And Book exudes an air of "not interested" -- how can I get interested in someone who isn't ever interested?

Umm...knowing what we know now, I'd say after Wash. Sex without the emotion, after all that bad emotion. It's a great idea. I have not read them, but here are fics to that end.
At the very least after Mal, before or after Wash.
But, you are right, Adam Baldwin is MUCH sexier now, later is better.
