Crossovers you would love to see and not like to see on Firefly

Not strictly speaking a cross-over but I think it would be a hoot to see the crew from TNG on an alliance cruiser. By the time they figure out how to reverse the polarity on the sensor net and chanel the output through the secondary cortex link the BDHs would be two sectors over planning their next heist.

I think the best crossover would be Firefly and Cowboy Bebop (an anime about bounty hunters). They both center on ship crews who are just scraping by and a corrupt government. Also they both have a blend of western and sci-fi with Asian (Chinese FF/Japanese CB).

I'm surprised no one has suggested a Red Dwarf/Firefly crossover yet. They seem to have quite a lot in common: an emphasis on the dirty, gritty realities of space travel as opposed to the sterile perfection of Star Wars/Trek, and a totally irreverant humor.
I would love to see these two crews interact and see who buddied up with who. What would our BDH make of the smegheads? Would Simon see more of himself in Kryten or Rimmer? Would the Cat be able to outshine Inara in outfit selection? The world may never know.

Seriously, though. Firefly and Cowboy Bebop have so many similarities, it isn't funny. Especially the constant theme of "broke-itis" that both ships seem to share. Another good crossover would be Firefly and Outlaw Star (but then some people call that a rip-off of Cowboy Bebop anyway).
At last.

But why has no-one mentioned Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the BBC series, not the movie)?
