Actually, the IMDb additions come mainly from fans--anyone with an account there can post additions, corrects, links, etc. heck, I update them all the time. So it stands to reason that not all of the info there is 100% accurate. But these days, studios also update with credits, so I'm sure once the move is further along, we'll see some corrections.

But no, "Wash Warren" isn't canon. Until it actually shows up on the show itself, nothing is canon.

Any official word from Joss Whedon on any of this movie-making? Any word from Adam Baldwin on the official site? Surely, if (no, when) the movie gets made, he'll be in it. Has he been back over there lately?

I'd like to know it isn't just us fans perpetuating our own belief...

Adam has indicated to me on the OB that it's in pre-production, that the story is about Reavers and what happened to River, and that essentially everybody has signed on. The script is completed. I think it will be most shiny.
