Just hilarious. The fact alone that they named a town after Jayne Cobb is enough to forever insure its place in my personal TV hall of fame.

I still laugh aloud just reading the script.

My fave episode... hmmm... it's real close but I'm gonna have to go with... Ariel. It's got a new kind of criminal mastermind, Jayne and his cortical electrodes, and the single best scene ever on television: Mal's talk with Jayne at the end. So good.

Grrr...

Ask the hardest question in the ruttin' verse.

If I absolutely must choose, I'd have to say "Shindig". Maybe it's the Kaylee in me, but he outfits are soooo shiny. As a very close runner up, however, I'd have to say "Objects In Space". The man who played Early (can't remember his name at the moment) was also in Good vs. Evil, another great show cancelled by the evil network conglomerates.

At last.

Our Mrs. Reynolds cause it's got the funniest line I've ever heard: "Oh I'm goin' to that special Hell..."

War Stories cause it's got the most badass scene with River blowin' away those 3 guys with her eyes closed.

Objects in Space cause Early is one of the most interesting characters I've ever seen.

Out of Gas cause the ending just really touched my heart, put a smile on my face, and made me shed a tear.

Okay that's four, but I couldn't pick just one.

Favorite? Hmm...

Well my top 3 are Serenity, Out of Gas, and Objects in Space... but my favorite?

Well, since Serenity was split over two episodes I'll go with Out of Gas as my favorite single episode.

How do you choose????

I can't choose just one - how about four(ish)...

Drama = War Stories (*That* torture scene)

Comedy = Our Mrs. Reynolds (NF's amazing comic timing with JW's script - priceless)

Dramady = Out Of Gas (So funny, so sad, so funny, so...)

Action = Serenity Parts 1 & 2 (such incredible writing - all TV pilots should be so good!!!)
