What are the movies that you most wanted to see, that when made, were worthless or worse? No remakes allowed, tv to movie is ok and sequel is ok.
1. Star Trek The Motion Picture
I had fought for the series to be made into a movie only to be presented by this. The best thing about this movie is that it paved the way for future movies and series.
2. Matrix sequels
Yes that is two movies in a single slot. The movies were not worthless, but they did not live up to the original and destroyed many possible plot lines.
3. Alien 3
Liked the way Aliens took the Riply only to find this as the next movie....yeck

Off of the top of my head I can only think of one
Queen of the Damned:
Arggg, could I hate that movie anymore!?! I'm a big fan of Anne Rice's vampire books and they complete slaughtered them in this movie. They killed character who shouldn't die, they totally slandered my favorite character, arggg they couldn't have gotten any more things wrong!!!
I'll get back to you on the other two.

Hulk.
Ang Lee had a pretty good track record up to that point, why o why did he decide to go and make a super hero movie?

How's about Reloaded and Revolutions? I think Revolutions could be one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
Van Helsing was pretty bad also. Those are my three.

Wow, I think there are more bad movies than good, so this should be easy. haha.
I totally agree on the Matrix sequels. ugh..the first one was so good..well, you all know the rest.
Lost in Translation had to be the most boring movie of all time. I was really looking forward to that.
Oh..and that stupid Will Farrell movie about the soccer kids. Cant think of the name, but I never even laughed once.
I know I can come up with more. do we have to settle on three!??

Star Wars 1-3

You know, they tell ya to never hit a man with a closed fist, but it is, on occasion, hilarious.

1.) Star Trek Nemesis. I expected it to be OK since Insurrection didn't suck. I was wrong.
2.) Titanic. I hated it. With a passion.
3.)Kill Bill 2. It wasn't that it was really, really bad... it just wasn't a patch on the first. (Excluding the eye scene- if you've seen it you know the one I mean).
Dark Angel, Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Enterprise, Farscape... anything else you'd like to cancel?

Mystery Men:. Look at that cast. How on earth did it come out so boring?
The first Star Trek Movie: I'm not a huge fan, but even without any Great Expectations, my patience was stretched to snapping point before anything happened.
And sorry, but The Incredibles. It had a trailer that I seriously believe will stand for a long time as the best purely on its own merit. I absolutely loved it. The film was OK.

I have one instance that fills all three slots: "500 years ago, on the planet Zeist..."
ARG!!!

A dozen college students drove an hour and a half to see the opening showing of Highlander II. We weren't the only ones yelling at the screen when those words flashed up, but we were definitely the loudest.
