I laughed myself silly at the Mencken quote... I'm australian, but it probably applies to our country as well... At the risk of going over old ground and sounding bitter - isn't that the whole problem with our beloved Firefly? We had a bunch of people producing a showed aimed at a thinking audience... morons!

I love movies that have the entire plot right there in the title.

What's not to love?
Snakes on the ground = good
Planes, sans snakes = good
Snakes on a Plane? = Frickin' amazing, is what!

I might be one of those cult classics because it is so frakin' horrible it is more funny than any thing on the face of the planet, but then again this could be the hallucinations that I been having since the withdrawal symptoms from Firefly/Serenity.

This movie will kick serious ass. It features Sammy L. headbutting snakes, Solid Snake (y'know, from Metal Gear Solid) as an assassin wielding a cobra sword and most importantly, SNAKES ON A MOTHER****ING PLANE. It'll sweep the Oscars next year, you'll see.

I love Sam Jackson but why would he do a piece of crap like SNAKES ON A FRIKKIN PLANE? The guy's rich so he doesn't have to do bad films anymore. I think he's a work-a-holic and just takes any project that comes his way even if it'll soil his reputation as a bad-ass motherf**ker.
