Of course, for a COMPLETE list of all shows Fox cancelled (after Family Guy), see the beginning of the first season four episode, where Peter rattles off EVERY show Fox aired after the cancellation of Family Guy.

I laughed for days...

Edit: Ooops, sorry, didn't see MC's post above mine mentioning this already...oh well, still LMAO anyway...

Somehow with Fox, I suspect they WANT to appeal to the lowest common denominator by airing mindless crap. (simpsons aside, but really now)

Remember, Remember the fifth of November

I know it was mentioned first by Mattcoz, but Wonderfalls!!! It was funny and inventive! There was an absurdity to it, but the actors were so grounded and committed to their roles that it never seeemed forced or fake. I was listening to the commentary when they were talking about story arcs for the second and third season, and all I wanted was to see those episodes. Pretty much how everyone on this site laments to see more Firefly. It boggles the mind to think that showing only four episodes is really going to garner an audience. Maybe it's ahead of it's time, like most good things are.

I had watched it when it was first on tv, and it really hooked me. I wasn't really surprised when it was cancelled, but it still upset me. I recently got to see some of the other episodes on Logo and was reminded of how damn good the show was, so I ordered the DVD set and I'm receiving it tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing those commentaries.

You know, Fox has put out some of the best shows, and even now a few of my favorite shows are on Fox. The problem is that the production side of Fox and the scheduling/promotion side of Fox are so completely seperate and have completely different goals.

Mattcoz-You're going to love the DVD set!! Make sure to watch the episodes in order and my favs have to be Safety Canary and Lying Pig (although Lovesick Ass is great!). Oh and my favorite line ever uttered on television is in Wound-Up Penguin! I literally spit out my drink when I heard Caroline Dhavernas say the words! Enjoy!

Titus was great, and even got three seasons before it got canned. If I recall, it's night kept getting switched, and they'd just not play it sometimes if they didn't feel like it. I keep thinking about picking up the DVDs.

Wouldn't it be great if we had all been born in an alternate 'verse where Fox wasn't ran by idiots who cancel shows way too soon?

Just got the Profit DVD's. It was as good as I remembered.

Wonderfalls...caught one episode then it was gone.

The show with the geeks from X-file...Lone Gunman? I liked that one too.

Futurama...still way funnier than most shows in production.

American Dad seems to finally have hit it's stride...and then it wasn't on Sunday...WTF?!?!
