I thought the real Firefly shout out was the use of the actor who played Tracy in "The Message" - Johnathan Woodward. He was also featured in the Hugo-winning Buffy episode "Conversations with Dead People".

Take home message is Joss takes care of his people.

Well, remember he was in the last season finale as well.

Not something new. Seems hard to believe its been this long since firefly was taken off the air though!

It was nice to see the actor who played Tracey in "The Message" still working. He's Knoxy, Fred's assistant at Wolfram and Hart.
