I noticed something the other day... whilest watching my Beloved Firefly Dvd's... i noticed in Areil that River slashed Jayne just across the middle of his Logo shirt... and the cans of food in shindig she took and started unwrapping had blue sun logos...
Is Blue Sun Rivers anemy?
Is Blue Sun like a Product of the Aliance that helps them control their people and gain prestige?
What does the Logo represent that River Dispises and Hates feeling the need to turn the logo's color red....
I dont think that River in Areils ment to harm Jayne but more to hurt the Logo to see it die and turn red...
What do yall think?
A flower was set upon a hand
Her face was touched by time
Alone the flower could not stand
Asleep she looked sublime

Blue Sun were in some way involved with River Tams conditioning. For a while I have wondered if Blue Sun is based on Sony because Sony used to have a Psychic division apparently. Blue Sun is a massive corporation which makes every product imaginable as I understand it. I'm also guessing that it started out as lots of difficult corps. before merging. For people who read some of the Doctor Who: New Adventures books it's probably a bit like the Butler Institute. The Blue Gloves are members of Blue Sun.

I think that's an excellent name for the Serenity sequel by the way.

Do we know whether or not Blue Sun got into it's enviable economic position because the Alliance gave it preferential treatment through the law (government sponsored or at least favored monopoly), or did they gain such a large market share through fair competition with their competitors (monopoly because they simply make the best product)?
That they used their position to get the government to look the other way while they experimented on abducted children is obviously wrong no matter how they achieved success, but I am curious.
