Haken,
Would it be possibly to make the number of raters for a fan fic visible? It doesn't do any good if there were 150 readers but only one person rated it. This would give a bit of a misleading impression to both the writer and the reader. I am not interested in who rated what, I would just personally like to get a feel for how valid the rating is. I wouldn't be surprised if others felt the same as I do.
