My friend Chris had a(nother) kid today with his GF/wife-to-be, Angela.

Chris is a geek especially (he knows the original Star Wars Trilogy by *heart* for crying out loud(not far off with the new stuff too!), let alone the whole galaxy far, far away's universe in any media!), Ang also to a lesser extent (heads roll if Charmed is missed for example),and both watch Stargate and Firefly/Serenity.

Their new daughter's name?

Kaylee!

The amusing thing is she's quite literally a po dung. XD

- Nathan Fillion on the second "This one is more expensive." Serenity.

I think I speak for everyone when I say, shiny! Good thing for her that they didn't name her Kaywinnit though. :p

I've been tempted to name future offspring from sci-fi show names.

Like Chiana (from Farscape) - a neat girl's name.

Or hell, I might just copy him. World needs more Kaylees. XD

Although I should add: I DID think up the same idea. He just got there more quickly.

(But he has no bachelor days left...at 23...so who really triumphs? XD )

Congrats to the parents and shiny name for the little one!

I am going to intensely campaign to get one of my daughters to name their son... Malcolm.

Just make sure it's not kid #2 of 3. ;)

Yeah, I'm naming my son Malcolm too.

Whenever I have kids, that is. I have to find a wife first.

...

Okay, who wants to get knocked up so we can name the kid Malcolm?
