Does no one have TiVo?? Or a VCR? Or a DVR? Or anything that records by Scheduled programming!?

And ummm... Full screen can be made FROM widescreen.

There are full screen editions of lots of movies (though today they don't really make as many since lots of people have widescreen TV's now). It's nothing but making the movie image a little bit larger... Like zooming in. And when certain things pop up on the right or left that is significant and the audience NEEDS to see it, they just move the image to the left or right using software like After Effects.

You can turn anything Widescreen into Full Screen.

Though Full screen sucks. Even with a 4:3 TV I would just want Widescreen. Me being someone who practices photography as a hobby, it's often times the author's vision to have this certain moment in widescreen format, where two foes are standing across from eachother on the borders of video.

If you've ever seen the widescreen and the full screen version of Jackie Chan's Who Am I then you know what I'm talking about. If you don't let me explain:

Select to view spoiler:

In Jackie Chan's Who Am I, around that final fight on the Roof where Jackie fights those two guys. When he's fighting the guy with the long legs, they kick eachothers ankles a whole lot, like 50 times and you know it hurts. They then back up and are on the edges of the wide screen version and BOTH of the Actor's reactions to the pain are IMPORTANT.

But in the Full screen version it only shows you the villians reaction, because to them that's more important, though I think both are equally important because the villian right off the bat is in pain and rubbing his ankle, while Jackie is saying "Come on come on" then after a few seconds of watching the bad guy rub his ankle in pain and Jackie saying keep fighting, Jackie finally starts rubbing his own ankle as well. It's hilarious.

But you don't get this in the full screen version because they have to zoom in for full screen.

If I were to ever get into being a director or anything, which I wouldn't because I like 3d stuff more :D, I would make sure that NONE of my films wound up in Full Screen format. It ruins the art.

William Shatner said something I can agree with:

"All my favorite shows have 12 mins of commericals, I don't have that kind of time!"

But commericals withstanding, now I have eight episodes of the 'verse to watch starting tomarrow at 10AM. And in order! I don't care what's going on, I WILL watch Jaynestown at 5PM!

Remember, Remember the fifth of November

Well here I was totally not knowing what was on the Sci-Fi schedule. I was coming in to see who was planning on going to the creation-entertainment gramd slam in Pasadena starting tomorrow. With three of our Big Damn Heros. Summer, Adam, and Morena Will be attending on Sat the 11th. My flight leaves tomorrow at 940.
Breakfast with the BDH recently sold out, but you can still sign up to get pictures/autographs.

But anyway, just to make sure everyone REMEMBERS and to make sure everyone KNOWS that the Scifi Channel is showing Firefly on March 10th from 10 AM to 6 PM (I think it's Eastern Time).

You want proof?? I'LL GIVE YA PROOF!!! http://www.scifi.com/schedulebot/index.php3?date=10-MAR-2006&feed_req=

Make sure and tune in!!! Especially if you're one of those people with those box that tell people what you're watching. I'm not sure if Satellite Dish or Digital Cable does that... I hope so 'cause I got Satellite Dish, but no ratings box.

The SciFi Channel (Channel 122 on Dish Network, teehee) TIMEZONE: EST
10:00 AM FIREFLY SERENITY - PT 1
11:00 AM FIREFLY SERENITY - PT 2
12:00 PM FIREFLY THE TRAIN JOB
01:00 PM FIREFLY BUSHWHACKED
02:00 PM FIREFLY SHINDIG
03:00 PM FIREFLY SAFE
04:00 PM FIREFLY OUR MRS. REYNOLDS
05:00 PM FIREFLY JAYNESTOWN
06:00 PM FIREFLY OUT OF GAS

And after that, it'll be time to re-watch Serenity! About the episodes- wish our tv reception was clearer, though...

48 minutes to go (well, I'm looking at an atomic clock, the board time must be off)!
