Hey all in case people don't know what the movie boots look like here's a really good shot. I know that these boots were made special for the movie but I'm trying to find something similar as I'm sure everyone else is. :-) :-P

I am getting ready to post some boots on Ebay that are like Rivers boots in the series. They are UK 5, which I believe is a US 7. They are the wrong size for me, but I thought maybe one of you guys might be interested since they are hard to find.

I been looking around at all these links and I think the borg ones at the top of this link look the best http://www.vixensandangels.com/Item.cfm?Type=68 except they don't have my size ;/. Which leaves me with these tuk ones http://www.tukshoes.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=318 but I can't tell how they would look without the plate... Does anyone have any good pictures? Otherwise there are the Judge St/Thunder ones on this page http://www.vixensandangels.com/Item.cfm?Type=64 (scroll down a bit) but they look so wrong to me... The plate doesn't go all the way to the top and it has like an inch of just plain leather... and steel toed. I've never worn a steel toed boot... anyone know how comfortable they are? I'm used to wearing normal doc martins daily for the past 6 years though... so do any of these measure up for comfort or anything? Any time I watch Firefly I always notice how awesome River's boots are, so I really want some... But yeah. Any opinions would be great ;D Thanks!

Those boots look like them except like.. crappy quality. Are they even leather lol?

lol those boots look brand new, not crappy quality. its what brand new boots look like, all boots. what they should look like ne way. Then you got to shine the leather, and break them in.
