I don't have a Firefly/Serenity moment to add to this thread... alas, I just wanted to pop in and say "put Vera up, son."

When I do though, I'll be back.

That's okay, FollowMal, I think the thread's headin' in fun directions all its own. Of course, I'd be glad if you had anything to add, but I'm learning a lot of new vocabulary so I have no complaints! (BTW, since I mentioned Mal, I wondered how long it would be before you showed up here! Glad to hear from you.)

My first Firefly moment!

A while back, a girl in my Interpersonal Communications course mis-spoke(sp), she ment to say Twix, but instead said, "Twix't", it reminded me so much of Kaylee I burst out laughing in the middle of the lecture!

That's when I knew I was hopelessly obsessed!

Oh man, this is a bad one. Well, I enjoy a good episode of Cheers every now and then and ever since I became addicted to Firefly whenever Norm mentions Vera I think of Jayne's gun. Cracks me up every time too.

Damn you Firefly, invading twenty year old sitcoms!

Hmmmm. I just got to thinking about this. Could Wal-Mart morph into Blue Sun? Scary idea.

whenever Norm mentions Vera I think of Jayne's gun.

Maybe Jayne's knife is named "Norm".

The church across from mine is called the Chinese Alliance church... Wow!They have a service in Mandarin, there, too! We also have boxes in out cafeteria marked "Alliance" somethingorother. I've had quite a few firefly moments, I wish I could remember them all!

Today, though, no matter where I go I gotta give a plug for Serenity. I just go "Oh, you *have* to see it, it's amazing! Anyway, I was at my karate class, and we were doing those funky back kicks that River did to that guy behind the pole in the bar fight of Serenity. I got sooo excited. Maybe too much, because my partner was like "Whoa! Didn't think it was possible for you to be more flexible!" Haha, and she was the one who used to do ballet!
