...after 30 whole days without watching FF, you pop in Bushwhacked and get teary-eyed and happy to see them havin' fun playin' the game, just like the thrill you get when you meet up with a good friend who moved away years ago.
...every time you see the word Serenity you look again in the hopes it's something related to the 'verse.
...you spend waaaay too much money on a new computer and printer and speakers and cable stuff because you're spending waaaay too much time online for firefly at work. (Which is why you were away from FF for a month in the first place!)

Thanks for the welcome! Don't know 'bout the "back", that was my 1st post on this site, I'm ashamed to say.
I'm usually over at BC or Goners. Er -- altho I did come by for the petition a few years back. Didn't have a real email account back then so couldn't sign up. I think. Maybe I did but got dropped?

I took an alternate route to work the other day and passed a big sign that said 'Serenity Farms.' I very nearly pulled over to look and see if the barn had a familiar shape - and the first term that popped into my brain pan was 'barn swallow.'
Later that day I was at work (I have a Train Job 
) and I was very slowly tooling along in a 130-ton diesel locomotive while the road foreman walked ahead doing a track inspection. We were on a slight downhill, and as I was following the foreman I suddenly found that I was wearing a perverse Jayne-with-Mal-in-the-crosshairs grin. 
I'm trying to wait for summer to come. (Season or actress, wouldn't mind either. 
) When August rolls around there will be swarms of fireflies darting around outside my apartment and I've half a mind to catch one and name it Serenity.
On that note, an answer to all you ladies who cried yourself to sleep when you found out Nathan had a girlfriend: My head almost hit the keyboard when I found out Jewel was married.

I got strep for the second time in the last three weeks and I was HAPPY b/c it meant that I could stay home and watch disc 3 and 4 (where I left off the last time I was home sick) and then the BDM!
