Invest (Sorf of) In the Firefly Movie

I started playing an online game several weeks ago called the Hollywood Stock Exchange. It's exactly what it sounds like: they give you $2 million in imaginary money, and you can "invest" it in Movies and Movie Stars. The price goes up and down, and if you're better at the game than me, you make money. This site is used as a way of Market Research. The players are in effect, predicting the movie grosses. The reason I'm telling you this is starting October 2, the Firefly movie will be avalible for trade. I plan on investing heavily in it, because a high market price for the Firefly movie will be another drop in the bucket of "F*** You" to Fox Television.
If you're intersted in joining, it's pretty fun, and you learn a lot about the economics of Wall Street.

It's not real money. It's a game. You start with two million, and you can spend it any way you want. The "stocks" will go up or down in price, and you gain or lose money that way. It's free to play.

A friend of mine told me about this a few months back, I kept looking for any mention of Firefly or even Joss. Glad to see they are getting some respect. I'll be investing soon.

Shiny, ya'll! The up comming IPO's are listed in Calander view, which I have been compulsivly checking ever since the FF movie was confirmed.

And the reason that none of the cast members have a Star Bond is that the HSX only keeps track of movies, so unless an actor is in many significant movies, they aren't going to be worth trading, according to the way the bond value is caculated. So television/stage actors are ignored.
Oh, and time for a little selfish self-promotion. Turns out, that if anyone I refer joins, I get a bonus. So if you join, make sure to put my sn in the little box on the form, so I get money. Which is good.

Who'da thunk that True Lies 2 would have dropped 30% in value in the one day since I bought it. That's just wrong.
