I find it to be good therapy to play FPS games. I like shooting at people. I play TFC, DOD, CS, and sometimes Quake 3. I tried playing Medal of Honor and COD, but I can't seem to get into those.

Nerdily obsessed with Flight Simulators, but tend to go for the arcade / messing around aimlessly modes, rather than the flight-planning, preflight checks anal stuff.
Microsoft FS2004 may be dominant in the market, but to my mind not all that good looking or much fun at all, so it gets used little.
Pacific Fighters, Lock-On, Sturmovik are OK if you ignore the mission building nonsense. I also have FMS, which is a free Radio Control plane sim. Very basic graphics, but the planes really do behave like the real R/Cs infesting my attic.
Best of all is, strangely, a very very cheap sim by a bloke called Ilan Papani. Microflight 5. Very basic, click and go with no messing about with setups and controls. Good with athmospheric conditions. Tendancy towards low and slow flying. Very good indeed.
He also does a boat and sailing simulator called Virtual Sailor, which follows the same philosophy. Cheap, very useable and restful fun
Had a bit of a binge last year to get the graphics up to scratch. Athlon 64 3500+ chip and a PCI Express Radeon X700PRO. Out of date already...
Although the PC has taken over somewhat, my old Playstation 1 still has the Ace Combat series, Air Race, a Radio Control Helicopter game and more. Gran Tourismo and Colin McRae Rally are still classics. Old, but not crap by any means.
In the real world, a psychopathic 1986 GSXR-1100G reminds me that the real stuff is as much of a hoot.
Is it any wonder I have no friends...

Over the years, I've loved a varity of games. From survival horror (Resident Evil series/Silent Hill series), to espionage, (Metal Gear Solid 1/2, Syphon Filter etc) and arcade games like the Tekken series.
Driving games are a lot of fun, (especially the Driver series.) I love the film director mode.
Previously, I had roughly over a year and a half away from PS2 and computer games in general, but decided to buy an XBox in December.
I now love FPS. Halo 2 is a classic. Great action, and attention to detail. Love the ingame dialogue from the AI.
'Black' is pure adrenaline. Can't praise this game enough. The visuals are gorgeous and the gameplay is so intense.
The Grand Theft Auto series and True Crime NYC are just sinful pleasures.
I like Splinter Cell too. I always have a soft spot for these type of games.
At the moment, I'm playing 'Gun'. Westerns have never been so much fun! There's a lot of nice elements, from the quick draw function to the variety in gameplay. (Fending off indians, whilst on top of a moving stagecoach, is crazy!)

I love me some FPS games.
Favorites are Killzone, Black, Halflife (all of them), Halo (1 & 2), Medal of Honor (any of them), & Call of Duty.
I just got Black for PS2 on Friday and am really getting into it. Anyone else playing?

I've been playing Call of Duty 2, Condemned, Dead or Alive 4, Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero and Quake 4 on the 360 (awesome). The game I'm most looking forward to is Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I love RPG's, I live for RPG's. I love Halo but Halo 2 sucked hard IMO. Morrowind, Fable and KOTOR are also faves but KOTOR II sucked hard also. Here's my collection if you wanna check it out. It's not big but I'm proud of it:

Ohh. I was an avid gamester for quite some time -- since way back when you played them on boards with dice.
I still occasionally dabble in a few.
I was the president & founder of the strategic war games club in High School way back in the day (and undefeated in over 100 encounters, as well).
Since the days of computers, I like most FPS I've had opportunity to play (including all Half Lifes, Deus Ex, NOLF, Far Cry, Halo, Jedi Knights, Jedi Academy, etc. -- even Delta Force and Terra Nova from the old days).
Have played both KOTOR games, as well.
I was also into battle games like Waterloo, Gettyburg, etc. -- both in computer simulation, as well as in the old board game days (took forever to play them with 5,000 cardboard pieces -- and try to get a dozen friends to each take a different country in WWII, then show up to play every few days: not easy).
I liked games with design elements, too, like the Sim City games. As a matter-of-fact, I bought "Streets of Sim City", not because I liked to race cars, but because I liked to design raceways (the same thing with "Sim Golf" -- enjoyed designing the courses more than playing on them).

On the PC I play mostly FPSs, never got into RTS or MMORPGs. On consoles I play a variety of games. On GameCube I play Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Smash Brothers, F-Zero, Monkey Ball, pretty much anything by Nintendo or Sega. On Xbox I play Halo 2, Kotor, Forza, and sports games.
If they made a Firefly/Serenity game I would like it to be like Kotor for the storytelling and character interaction, but have more action based gameplay with shootouts and bar fights. You would have to go around finding jobs, choosing the characters to go on the job with you(main character is Mal of course), what weapons to equip them with, and then communicate with the others back on the ship. It could be done so well, especially if they get the cast to do the voices and get Joss to do a lot of the writing.
