Paypal Cookie

I was just wonder why every time I log onto I am comforted with a paypal cookie? My browser blacks it but I just set of a security alert for the first time (This might be a problem at my end I have rebooted windows and it has not happened again) so I was wondering what this cookie is and why its there.

Nowadays you catch several session cookies on the internet. The Paypal cookie you are referring to is related to the "donation box", I suppose.

Those cookies are usually harmless.
