The fact that I'm the first person on the site to think of this speaks volumes about my character.

The Firefly Drinking game.

Whenever anyone on the show says something in Chinese, everyone takes a drink of beer.

Whenever anyone on the show says, "shiny, gorramn, or ruttin'" everyone take two drinks of beer.

Choose a character, whenever your character says, "shiny, gorramn, or ruttin'" you can give someone else a drink.

Please drink responsibly, and DON'T drink and drive. Have fun!

Hmmm, yeah.

How about whenever Inara says "companion" and River says a color (blue, red etc.), then you can give a drink? Unless there some other idiosyncracies that would be comparable.

I like it! Screaming and "Mal" it is! ...Course the rules can be amended to suit the tolerance of the players, but these are some good ground rules. Now all I need is the Firefly DVD and a 30 rack of red and whites. I have to get my drining buddies in on this. What a way to convert Browncoats. "So, what did you think of Firefly?" "Um, I don't really remember watching Firefly. Did I?"

True couldn't quite imagine doing that with Guinness (sp). That was my previous vice. Now it's just a happy memory. Though I could see my self playing ye ol drinking game with some Margaritas on the rocks. My wife would be all cute and say it could be done with a big bag of hesrhey's kisses too.

Margaritas & Firefly, now that's a shiny thought!
of course you could also partake of a slew of them "Browncoat Drink reciepes (sp)" And lots of chips & salsa. speaking of heartburn. Hold up Book don't swear cept that one time in War Stories, which I appreciated, it made him more human & more believable. So you'd need something else to use Book. I can't think of one right now.

The Wise men are Jim, Jack & Johhnie. If you are especially daring you can have Four Fine Friends which are the three above plus Jose.

I think you should drink when

A. Simon puts his foot in his mouth.

B. Jayne puts on a dorky hat (2x drinks for that)

C. Someone pulls a gun.

D.Jayne smiles!
