Battle of the Free Firewalls

Ok this isn’t so much a battle as it is a skirmish as the only free Firewalls I know of are the Windows Firewall the Linux Firewall(s) and Zone Alarm.

So I ask the question, do you use a free Firewall and what do you think of it? Personally I would like to use Zone Alarm but I just don’t trust it. I does seem likely that Zone Labs got caught in the act of spying on its customers. But still would you trust your security to the Windows Firewall,

IPCop. You need dedicated hardware, but who hasn't got a Pentium I system gathering dust?

I'm an avid user of Sygate Personal Firewall. It's about 7 months out of date, update-wise, and official support from Symantec is cut off unless you buy their Sygate Personal Firewall PRO, but if you can find it on a personally hosted site, it's still the best damned free firewall on the (unofficial) market in my opinion.
