4/4 Is the basic time signature for all rock and roll as we know it. Which means four beats, repeat. As I recall that means the drummer hits on the first and third, as the core rhythm. Of course I'm just the support crew here, if I'm wong just tell me and I'll go and be about my business which would be pre-trashing the hotel suite for you, getting the bus washed, seeing that your luggage is secure and the mini bars are stocked. But things first, how would you like to be lit? Low house lights? Something in blue? Panning spots? A mirror ball maybe?
