Thanks for the clarification, but I already knew that. It was just a joke in the nonserious variety, not to be taken literaly. I'm a huge fan of River and do agree that she would no holds barred tear Buffy apart; but I also agree with Dave in that I don't see a reason why they would ever get into it. Unless Buffy did something stupid like try to harm Simon. Maybe she saw him drawing blood from someone and thought he was a vampire.

That's great, I agree with u. Just have to be able to differentiate the difference between stating a serious fact about the character and making a joke (albeit not a very good one). My humor needs some work sometimes.

Well sure. I guess my point is that it doesn't have to be an either/or situation. I find no problem in digging both River and Buffy. Two great asskickers that would kick even more ass together.

Actually what would be worse is River seeing Buffy nawing a Fruity Oaty Bar while humming the song. River would shove that thing through the back of Buffy's head faster than Giles can say "Buffy don't..."
