does anyone know which stores still have any/ and if hot topic is generally willing to have stuff transfered from other locations, cuz i must have the river shirt!!!

The Hot Topic website has a store locator button and phone numbers of stores. If you find a nice salesperson in the store or on the phone and they are not too busy, they can check their computer.

Hot Topic is willing and able to transfer from other stores at least in their region.

Here are the Hot Topic codes if you need to have them transfered from another store. It also helps the store people to realize what shirts you are talking about.

I think the -004 means XL So Small might be -001

Only size on there now is MD for medium.

Maybe they are realizing that we are having trouble finding the stores that have the Serenity shirts and that we will buy them online.

Yeah, I freaked out to those a few days ago. Normally I consider stepping into a Hot Topic to be a personal sin, but damn if I wasn't caught off guard when I saw those shirts. I got a Serenity logo shirt and my mother got herself a *BROWNCOAT* shirt.

2/11/2006 Now the Serenity logo and Browncoat shirts are back on Hot Topic online. The River My Turn is sold out again. These are Official Universal Serenity t-shirts!

Browncoats, go gobble them up!!

I'm going to have to go see if any are still in the mall Hot Topic store where I got mine. I wonder if the stores all sent the shirts back or Hot Topic online ordered more?

Hot Topic in the Mall at Steamtown in Scranton, PA has them.

I picked up a Browncoat t-shirt. They had maybe 6-7 more of those in various sizes, while there were only 3 Serenity in Large and up.

Serenity T-shirts in a variety of sizes now available in the Exton, PA mall. Bought three of them. Two of the people who worked there knew all about the movie, one even knew who Joss Whedon is. No Browncoat shirts though.

Guys.

Hot Topic WILL order the shirts for you. I just ordered a Browncoat shirt approx. two days ago and the shirt is already there waiting for me. The store at Exton Mall, PA near Philly will hold it for me for a week.

MAKE them work for our sale. If the shirt you want isn't in the store, MAKE THEM TRANSFER IT! Put down a deposit if you have to! Don't just walk away like a meek little lamb that the Alliance wants you to be.

These salespeople will remember how excited and eager you were to get the shirt and this will trickle upwards. Plus, these are liscensed shirts, so Universal will probably see some cashy money from this. Money talks.

If you go and order it online, no one is really involved in the sale. GO TO THE STORES. Make the trip. Make the sale memorable. Make a comment as to how appreciative you are that they did this for you. Write a letter of thanks and hand it to the saleslady (or better yet, ask for the manager!) saying how pleased you were they transferred the shirt. Companies LOVE to hear how good a job they're doing.

I was already told on the phone that I was NOT the first person who asked for a shirt to be transferred. So they DO remember.

This is our RIGHT as a consumer. We can choose to spend our money elsewhere, but we chose their store and their merchandise. Make YOU, the customer memorable, which will make Serenity and Firefly memorable.

The three Hot Topic stores in my area now all have Serenity shirts...so it is

spreading.

I only saw the River My Turn shirts at one store. But all three stores had the Serenity Logo shirt and two of them had the BROWNCOAT/I AIM TO MISBEHAVE.
