Continuity Error or deep insight(spoilers)

In Our Mrs. Reynolds there is a scene where

There was a scene where Zoe was angry at Wash and made a said that the whole Saffron incident stopped being funny when he didn't turn around and drop her back off. If you recall, he couldn't because the Alliance was moving in which Zoe was well aware of. I assumed that this was a continuity error. Then I remembered an incident with my wife

One time my wife was out of town on business. She tried to call home and dialed the wrong number and a young woman answered. After the woman told her it was the wrong number she redialed and called home correctly. Here is the kicker....SHE WAS STILL PISSED OFF AT ME FOR ANOTHER WOMAN ANSWERING HER OWN PHONE IN HER OWN HOUSE WHILE SHE WAS TRYING TO CONTACT HER HUSBAND WHO WAS PROBABLY JUST SITTING AROUND WATCHING TV. Never before has one so innocent still been forced into temporary abstinence.

That's when I realized that jealous wives, and probably jealous spouses in general are the most illogical creatures ever. So I ask again, continuity error or is Joss just someone with deep human insight?

I concur. Joss is just that good. With any other writer I'd consider the error possibility, but not here. Every line is deliberate and laced with meaning.

Yeah, I think was for the humour of show too. And it was interesting to see Zoe upset like that considereing how calm she usually is

I love how Wash brings out the 'human' in Zoe.
