Firefly boxed set in Amazon top 10 again

fox has to be making a fortune off the firefly boxed set. this is the fourth time it is in the top 10 dvd sales @ amazon in 4 years. how many other boxed sets are not doing near as well but the shows are still on the air and still making new episodes? serenity is back on the list as well. and all this with no advertising expense and no cheesy greedo-shoots-first-to-be-pc remakes. methinks universial should have made a “we get a few % of firefly sales after the announcement of the serenity if we fork over the $ to make the movie” contract seeing as a portion of the sales were driven by the movie. and if universial releases a “shiny edition”, i cant imagine that they wouldn’t be in the black assuming they are not already.

That's quite a mouthfull there.

As far as Universal getting a piece of Firefly sales; sure in a more just universe that would be the case. In the world as it exists today - never gonna happen.

You are right about the shiny edition though. Give us American Browncoats a special edition and we'll get you into the black.

Well the sale is on Firefly not Serenity. Now a Shiny Edition of Firefly wouldn't be a bad thing either but it's not directly connected to a possible Shiny Edition of Serenity.
