-You stare at your car for hours dreaming up possible alterations that could be made to make it more like the good ship serenity
-You are seriously considering not goin to university in order to spend your £3000 student loan on Kaylees costume from the movie.
-Your usual geek block that refrains you from doing such things as joining a fan site is switched off
-You honestly wish you lived in that parralell universe where there is a Firefly series 2
-You spend hundreds of pounds on lottery tickets in the hope of winning the jackpot so you can pay for more series of firefly
-At the same time your torn between the need for expansion and secretly not minding if it was just kept as this perfect series, graphic novel and movie
-Every mornin you wake up honestly believin your on board with the crew before realisin the cold harsh truth of reality
-You go to a bar, knowing that every1 is guliable enough to think that the transport ship you have floatin outside has a vast array of powerfull guns
Men of Honour - Im a good man ... I guess I'm ok ... well I'm alright...

...you see a billboard ad for a new condo complex in your area with the URL LiveSerenity.com and 1) laugh hysterically at the sighting, 2) think, 'I'm already living Serenity!' and 3) actually go to the website and discover the (unfortunately short) background music sounds a lot like something you might listen to while gazing into the black.
...you pass by a business called 'Serenity Funeral Service' and 1) laugh hysterically at the sighting, 2) laugh just as hard the second time you pass it, 3) think, 'So this is what Jayne's gonna do after he leaves the crew!' and 4) seriously consider making a thread for pictures of related and non-related Firefly/Serenity sightings, knowing your fellow Browncoats'll love it.
...your desktop computer's power supply blows a little under a week from when you have exams and major assignments due, and when explaining your situation to the teacher, you say, 'I'm humped,' and she doesn't bat an eyelash because you made it sound so natural.

... if you dumped all the episodes of Firefly onto your computer, so that you could re-assemble the parts into a "new" episode.
(most frankensteinian, dude.)

if you've stared calling your friends "Captain" and use "Goram" as a curse word.

...not that that's ever happened to me.

You walk into a bar and start talking about Firefly and Serenity. People look at you blankly. Confused and alarmed that people in this world could possibly be unaware of classic TV/Film sci-fi, you grab people by the lapels and scream in their faces such pertinent questions as,
"WHAT YEAR IS THIS?!?"
"WHERE AM I?!?"
"WHO IS THE PRESIDENT?!?"
And then you run outside screaming, perhaps to find the Statue of Liberty that you can fall to your knees in front of, mourning the happy fantasy-land of 'everybody loves Firefly' that for a short giddy time you believed you lived in.
While pounding your fists and shouting, "Damn you, Fox! You maniacs! You finally did it! You cancelled her! You cancelled her all to hell! Damn you! You murderers!"
And so on.
*Ahem*
You mean it hasn't happend to you, yet?
"If you can keep your head whilst others... eurgh! Ack! I've spilt my ink! Ugh! Ink on my trousers! Agh! Ink on my shirt! My only hope! The window! Aieeeeee!" (Falls to death)

You fight for your right to party, even though the odds are grim and you know you may not live.

..Your Sweetheart comes to pick you up from work and give you a ride home and informs you that you owe him a few bucks for the copy of HIS DVD copy of Firefly you borrowed (well, usurped is more like it) because he knew he couldn't un-glue his girlfriend from the series. (He just wants them for "archival" DVDs in his library....It was his fault I became a Browncoat (as I've posted earlier)}
Well, it's completely worth it as I am trading a neighborhood bartender who has disc 2 for disc 3 tomorrow.
Mwahhhha!! He is so hooked now!!
And no, no free drinks...YET....

You don't even watch TV, but you buy an Infocus projector so that you can host Firefly/Serenity movie nights...
You go to your first sci-fi convention (500 miles away) just to meet Summer. (Alan was icing on the cake...)
After going to said convention, you're inspired to write a song (entitled, "Firefly", of course), which band members say is your best one yet.
Oh, and I totally relate to whoever said they keep their Firefly/Serenity discs on top of the TV instead of tucked away with the other movies... There's just something comforting about having them in plain sight...
You buy juggling geese from washosaurus.com and proudly juggle them for anyone who comes over...
Actually, I'm guilty of most of what you guys have been saying. It is good to be among people who understand...
