Shindig, Jayne, Book, and Simon are playing a card game. River walks in starts going nutso with the cans, Simon, Book run to her aid, Jayne doesn't budge, he starts cheating. So funny, I can't believe I missed that in the six previous viewings, beautiful Jayne moment.

That's the great thing about the show. Always more things to see. Lots of layers.

Now watch it again and notice that River is only attacking cans with blue sun lables on them...

Kinda like when she cuts Janes chest in Arial. He's wearing a blue sun logo shirt. That may be what she was attacking and not Jane at all but motive is not quite so clear there...

I think it will take a million viewings of each episode just to catch all the stuff there is to see. There are so many layers and so much going on that it is hard to get everything.

well it is easy too see that he cheated is is just in your face i have only just watched it foe the first time and saw it right away!!!!!!!!!
though yes alot of sit downs to see it all so good luck i will watch them over and over till i know them off by heart.

I was pre-occupied with Book, Simon, and River so I missed it. I also missed it that when she slashed Jayne in another episode, he was wearing a shirt with the "Blue Sun" logo. I'm starting to sense a pattern here lmao!

My favorite, favorite thing that I missed the first (two) times around was in the Serenity pilot.

In the Battle of Serenity Valley, right before Mal runs out to take the cannon, he lifts up a necklace with a cross and kisses it.

When we saw it the third time, that's when me and my friend noticed it. We just gave the other the "You just saw that too, right?!" look. KF
