I think it's just downloading slow because it's a big file that a lot of people are hitting at once.

I downloaded it late at night, right when the contest was announced, and it took about 2 hours - but then I screwed up an erased it. Re-downloaded yesterday, and it took almost 5 hours.

Nonsense, lets hear it for high camp, low class movies. I have to admit the first time I saw the trailer that wasn't the movie that jumped to mind... There was a movie that jumped to mind but I've already forgotten what it was. Methinks I'm gonna hafta start working on improving my memory.

So i finaly got around to doing up the ad thingy. I'm kinda happy the way it turned out though I don't think I'll be winning the prize. I just don't have the tools or the time to do it right so I just used the flashwidget which somewhat limited my muse. Also I'd have been happier if I had a full minute to work with. 30 seconds is not enough time to get as complex as I'd have liked. Anyway they said they will be posting the entries on the 10th and if your intersted in checking out mine it's called "a quiet night"

Alright, got my submission in. I hope all white noise in my voice over clip won't hurt my entry. I think I have a shot. I cross my fingers, wiggle my toes, and pray to all the dieties I've ever causually considered might exist. I will worship them all, make sacrifices to them all. Every dollar I spend with be the supreme... ok, I'm boring even myself.

Ok, two questions:
Anyone submit a quicktime file? I did, and mine didn't play in the quicktime box when it said I was done with my submission.

Also, in the rules, it states:
"All Contest winners will be notified within three (3) days of the completion of the Finalist Round of judging. Grand Prize and First Prize winners will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Submission Release/Transfer of All Rights and Waiver Agreement form, a completed IRS W-9 form, and a Publicity Release form within three (3) days of date of issuance of notification. A prepaid return overnight delivery air bill will be provided to facilitate the return of all required documents."

I assuming the first and third forms are emailed/provided somehow, and the w-9 you can grab of irs.gov. When it says "A prepaid return overnight delivery air bill will be provided to facilitate the return of all required documents," does that mean they mail us the the documents and they provide the return envelope?

It may be a silly question, I just want to be totally unequivocal on what they mean.

That's what I assumed but to know for sure you will probably have to ask them.
