I thought of something really clever to contribute about 1/3 of the way down this unthread, but by the time I'd read about the cookies and everything, it was no longer so clever.

I actually did write this, but I didn't send it. I thought it wasn't in the spirit of the thread, and too much of my usual sardonic retort. In this life, you take what comes. What bothers me more is that more people post on the abortion more quickly than anything else that ever came to the board, the one topic which serves as nothing but a political divider. And of course degenerated rapidly into 'fascist pig' 'oh yeah? babykiller.' I see little images of sheep goosestepping off cliffs when this sort of thing happens.
