Conflicting information regarding aspect ratio. Will the Firefly DVDs be full screen or widescreen? The first post in this thread says anamorphic widescreen. However, the Amazon site mentions full screen. Which is it? I certainly hope we get widescreen.

Full-frame?
Wasn't it supposed to be widescreen?
Still placed my order though.

Hi guys, been a lurker but this dvd thing brought me out into the light. I was one of the people who made Amazon sell out the 1st time the set was available for pre order. There was no info on the set at the time but I was under the impression as well that the eps would be in widescreen. They wouldn't provide full screen and widescreen versions would they? And I also read on the official site a while back that there was a deleted scene from War Stories, kinda disappointed that's not on the set. Unless of course the scene was never filmed, hmmm. Well's my 2 cents. Can't wait for December!

Does anyone know if there's ANY chance what so ever of Firefly being release in region 4 (Australia / South America), even though they're yet to release the series on TV?
Also as per the 4:3 fiasco; While Joss and everyone are 100% positive that it'll be in widescreen, I'm sure they were 150% positive that Fux would air the episodes in the right order, or at LEAST air them all.
As for Fux and their "If it was shot in widescreen it'll be released in widescreen", LIES! Somebody said Buffy season 4 was released on 4:3 in the US, and the Australian Angel that i've seen has been in 4:3. (Season 4 of Buffy is in widescreen here though).
